Event Summary:
2009 marks the 10th Anniversary of Wolfe Laboratories, Inc. providing pharmaceutical ADMET and CMC development services to emerging pharma and biotech companies. In honor of this auspicious occasion, we are hosting the 2009 Wolfe Biopharma Conference to raise money for United Way’s Math, Science and Technology initiative (MSTi). All registration fees will directly benefit MSTi and other youth programs.
Filling Biopharma’s Pipeline will feature senior-level experts in biopharma, academia, venture capital, and media who will discuss the existing trends and challenges in Boston’s biopharma ecosystem. Through exploring the current state and future of the biopharma industry, attendees will better appreciate that combining critical path activities in DMPK, form and formulation, and Phase I clinical supply results in significant time savings, thus increasing the rate at which the pipeline can be filled with high quality drug candidates.
Following the speaker presentations, Mark Fishman, M.D., President of Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Steven Ainsley, Publisher of The Boston Globe, Shirley Leung, Managing Editor of Business News for The Boston Globe and Charles Kravetz, President of New England Cable News, will discuss biotech ecosystems, life sciences in the media, and the importance of investing in youth. A cocktail reception and dinner delights will ensue.
