Janet Wolfe, Ph.D., President

Janet Wolfe is President and Founder of Wolfe Laboratories (WLI), a contract research and development group located in Watertown, Massachusetts. WLI provides pharmaceutical R&D in the areas of formulation and bioanalytical support, leveraging its development expertise to help advance early stage compounds into the clinic.

Prior to starting Wolfe Laboratories, Dr. Wolfe was on the faculty of the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Dr. Wolfe has over fifteen years experience in pharmaceutical research and development and is the author of numerous articles and presentations.  She received her BS from University of Sciences in Philadelphia and doctorate in pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of Kansas.

David Cordo, Chief Financial Officer 

David Cordo is Chief Financial Officer of Wolfe Laboratories. For over fifteen years he has held senior management positions in leading life science companies.

Prior to joining Wolfe Laboratories, Mr. Cordo was Treasurer of Millennium Pharmaceuticals and played an integral role in raising over one billion dollars in capital and the acquisition and integration of three companies. He held senior financial management positions at Biogen Idec where he put in place financial infrastructure for the world-wide launch of AVONEX®. Mr. Cordo was also the Chief Financial Officer of TransForm Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Cordo is very active as a member of the Executive Committee of the Wake Forest University Parents’ Advisory Council and consulting on several charitable organizations.

Mr. Cordo is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an M.B.A. degree from Nichols College and a B.S.B.A. degree from Stonehill College.
