Metabolite Identification

As part of our bioanalysis and LC-MS/MS offering, Wolfe Laboratories provides metabolite identification. We identify phase I and phase II metabolites of candidate molecules in samples from both in vitro and in vivo sources. The work involves a combination of extraction method development and LC-MS/MS analysis. Total ion current, metabolite fragmentation pattern, and structural elucidation can be performed. In addition to identifying the general types of metabolites by LC/MS, the sites of biotransformation can be deduced from MS/MS data.
